Most diagnoses can be made through the history alone.

A Thorough Chiropractic Examination

The initial examination is thorough, and depending on the condition you are presenting, specially selected orthopedic, palpation, range of motion, sensory, instrument and electronic diagnostic tests (link to equipment) will be performed. In many cases X-ray evaluation may be necessary for further evaluation of the spinal structures and identification of any degeneration, pathology, developmental anomalies, fractures, or vertebral subluxations.

A Comprehensive Approach

At Boyer Chiropractic you will experience an in-depth, full-rounded approach to your healthcare. Upon completion of the chiropractic examination, our specialist in sports therapy will evaluate the connective tissues, consisting of the muscles, tendons, and ligaments to identify any factors contributing to or aggravating the condition you present with. Our comprehensive approach to your healthcare allows us to address the causes of your condition rather than merely the symptoms.

Following both examinations we will explain our findings and recommended tests and treatment. Most often, we can begin treatment that same day; however, sometimes the doctors will need time to review the findings and test results in order to ascertain the appropriate diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis. If that is the case, you can expect to receive a full report of findings, treatment, and course of action before beginning treatment on your follow-up visit.
